Owned and managed by partners Jim Foster and Marc Roy, with the support from all-star chef James MacMillan, Pelican Seafood Market & Grill thrives in all areas of customer service, preparation and professionalism.
Pelican Fishery & Grill oﬀers a full service ﬁsh market with a wide variety of wild and farmed ﬁsh and seafood and shellﬁsh. From sashimi grade tuna to wild paciﬁc salmon to fresh wild Lake Erie pickerel ﬁllet we oﬀer a wide variety of seasonal ﬁsh.The market has been in operation since 1978 our philosophy is "to provide our customers with superior food quality, excellent service and good value". We cut the ﬁsh to suit your dish.
The Grill was added in 1996 and is an unpretentious Seafood Bistro using the freshest ﬁsh of the 4 daily deliveries. We focus on classic dishes that allow our fresh ﬁsh to shine. Enjoy Pan roasted Black's harbor N.B. salmon, wild Atlantic Haddock & Paciﬁc Halibut. We care deeply about what we serve and oﬀer a balance of wild and ethically farmed ﬁsh. We always dreamed of having an oyster bar and after 20 years our dream came true! Our recent expansion also allowed us an expanded seating area and seafood market, an intimate private seating area and a new kitchen with another fish smoker. We were thrilled to watch Jamie & Laura from Rusty Nail Design build us a new space out of reclaimed wood and metal. Our favourite spot to eat is sitting at the bar beside the hand built draft taps.
